18 March, 2012 - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has unilaterally declared all negotiations and diplomatic exchange, in regards to Bir Tawil sovereignty, with the Republic of the Esterlands as having terminated. The Minister of Foreign affairs released a statement to the press which can be requested from the Ministry at jripleytwo@gmail.com. In the same release an announcement was made where recognition has been removed from two nations.

21 December, 2011 - The Norse Kingdom of Vestrland announces the signing and adoption of its constitution as its supreme law. The Constitution goes into effect January 1, 2012 at 12 a.m.

20 December, 2011 - The King releases a minor proclamation, which states Vestrlandic condemnation for the supporters of the recently deceased, leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Jong-Il.

17 November, 2011 - The Norse Kingdom of Vestrland lays claim to Bir Tawil and petitions the Arab Republic of Egypt for sovereignty over the region. Diplomatic cables between them remain classified at this time.

26 August, 2011 - Today, The Norse Kingdom of Vestrland made its first international and diplomatic step when Hátign Hans Konung Þórir Þorsson signed the Treaty of Universal Peace 2011 on behalf of the Vestrlandic people. The Konungr is not expected to make a Royal Proclamation on the Treaty because the treaty is a non-binding agreement although it will be fully honoured by the Konungr based on the principles it represents.

25 August, 2011 - Diplomatic dialogue has started between the Norse Kingdom of Vestrland and the Kingdom of Zealandia (Konungsríkið Sjálandía). Results of the talks will be released as soon as possible. 

23 August, 2011 - The King makes his first Royal Proclamation since founding the Norse Kingdom of Vestrland. The Proclamation concerns the Kingdom's land claims.

20 August, 2011 - The King decrees today to be the Declaration Day for the Norse Kingdom of Vestrland. It is today that he will sign the Constitution of the Kingdom. Today is also the day that the King opens naturalization to all who are eligible. Any who are born within the Kingdom's territories are automatically eligible for full citizenship. Most other applicants are eligible for Honourary Citizenship.
